One of my greatest joys is sharing my love of clay with others in my studio at Mullumbimby, NSW.

I predominately teach hand building, specifically slab building techniques. This method is central to my practice and is incredibly rewarding and satisfying.

Workshops are kept to a maximum of 4 people so that everyone gets the assistance and space that they need.

Private classes run for three hours, during which time you have the opportunity to design and make up to four pieces. In the past people have chosen to make planters or tableware including mugs, plates, platters and spoons, as well as more sculptural pieces. It’s good to come with a bit of an idea of what you’d like to make and we can take the design and creation from there.

Private classes are $190 per person, and can be held with two to six students. All the clay and equipment you will need is included. I will also fire and glaze your pieces - they are generally ready to be returned to the makers a few weeks after the class. If you happen to be visiting the area, I can also pack your pieces safely so that they can be posted to you (but will ask that you cover the postage costs).
