dark denim blue planter_ART - tulip motif

Regular price

My dark denim blue planterART range is available in three sizes (small, medium and large). The influence of my love for Japanese aesthetics and mid-century modern motifs are evident in the designs. This tulip planter also a nod to my love of tulips and other bulbs from my childhood garden.

The planters have drainage holes and each fits a standard size plastic pot. This allows for plants to be planted into the planterART or kept in plastic pots within the planterART. The planterART design also includes a separate saucer, hidden within the foot of the planter.

The planterART range is handmade in my studio in Mullumbimby, with each piece slab built and high-fired to ensure durability. Please note that, due to the nature of the handmade process, there may be slight variation in the size and colours of the finished products.

  • Handmade in Mullumbimby, Australia.

All the Jenn Johnston Ceramics pieces are handmade. My work is either thrown on the wheel or hand built, bisque-fired, then glazed and finally high-fired. Due to the nature of the handmade process, there will be slight differences in the size and colours of the finished products. As each piece is unique, the piece/s you receive will not be precisely the same as that in the photo.

I predominately work with stoneware, which is then high fired, resulting in durable pieces, suitable (and indeed intended for) everyday use. The glazes I use are food safe, and handwashing and careful stacking is recommended.
